follow the line of grapes

Norman Rockwell

News
News is never new to me
for i have heard it all
and seen what can be seen

You say you have new news for me?
but thats impossible
because i know everything

Whats that you say?
he did what?
i promise to keep my mouth shut

Oh i must tell Ms.Lucy Yut

He did this and she did that...
i promise he did...
because i saw it!

Well hello Mr...
no need to yell
whats that you say?

He heard from him
and he heard from him
and he heard from her
ans she heard from him
and he heard from her
and she heard from her
and she heard from her
and she heard from her
and she heard from her
and she heard from her
and she heard from him
and he heard from her
and she heard from her
and she heard from me...

Thats impossible
i have never heard of such a thing!

I chose to take a lighter path in poetry for this blog post. I usually go with the dark and meaningful side of poetry but i chose to do it on something that has or will happen to every one of us, at least once in our lives.

  1. I really like the painting you chose, and the poem!I like how it is ammusing, and yet it tells a story about life. I think that It really has a moral. I like how you were could be aperson in the painting, but you could also be someone outside it. Trés bien!

  4. This was a really AWESOME poem. I like the long list of "she told him and he told her" and so on and so forth. It was a really long gossip chain. I liked how you went the funny way rather than the hurtful way.I thought it was really fun and funny. Good job.
